A great contest entry by any standards.
The colors of this piece are obviously one of the greatest aspects of this piece. They set the mood, giver her personality, and basically define how the piece is meant to feel.
And in this piece, I definitely get feelings. Some of mystery, inquisition, and some strange feeling of vengeance. How? I don't know, but I do think it is thanks to the wonderful choice of colors on your part. Excellent work
As for the character herself, she is extremely well done with some slight improvements that I see. For one, the visible shoulder seems a tad bit too pointy, almost unnatural. And the chin around the head seems a but pointy as well, but this is more negligible then the shoulder is.
Other than that, she is extremely well done, the costume, pose, and facial expression give some amazing compliments to the background of the piece. Awesome work
In conclusion, I can say that this is an amazing piece of art, and is by far one of the most incredible I have critiqued, both in style and in overall expression.
Amazing job, and I look forward to seeing your art in the future.
